⏰ Late Arrival & Early Release Guidelines

Students may be approved for Late Arrival or Early Release (limited to 1 period, unless enrolled in Dual Enrollment) if they meet the following criteria:

✅ Eligibility Requirements

• Must be in Grade 12
  OR enrolled in Dual Enrollment at Valencia, UCF, or UF (any grade level)
• Have a minimum 2.5 unweighted GPA
• Met FSA ELA or a concordant score
• Met Algebra 1 EOC or a concordant score
• Completed HOPE and Fine Arts credit
• Completed Personal Financial Literacy & Money Management course
  (Not required for Class of 2026)
• Have at least 6 classes on your schedule
• Not recovering credits
• Earned a passing grade in a College & Career course, such as:
  • AP or AICE Level 3 or higher
  • Dual Enrollment course (grade of C or higher)
  • Passed an Industry Certification or Bundle
• Have reliable transportation to leave or arrive on time
  (Students found on campus during their release/arrival period will lose the privilege and be placed in 7 classes)
• Not in the truancy process
• No discipline referrals
