Student Parking Information

2026–2027 LBV Student Parking Information

To provide students with greater flexibility and make parking more convenient, each student will receive a numbered parking tag that identifies their parking permit. Parking spaces will no longer be individually assigned and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis within designated student parking areas. This does not apply to the area designated for Seniors Only, who pay to paint their space.

Students who wish to apply for a parking decal must meet the following requirements:

  • Grade Level: Must be a registered Sophomore, Junior, or Senior at Lake Buena Vista High School.
  • Academic Standing: Maintain a minimum 2.0 unweighted GPA.
  • Clear Obligations: All school obligations (textbooks, equipment, fees, etc.) must be resolved.
  • Compliance: Agree to follow all regulations and rules outlined in the Student Parking Agreement.
  • Payment: Submit the $65 fee through SchoolCash Online.

2026–2027 LBV STUDENT PARKING CONTRACT

Please read this agreement carefully. By applying for a School Board of Orange County, Florida, student parking tag, the student and parent/guardian acknowledge and agree to the following conditions for driving and parking on the Lake Buena Vista High School campus.

Important: Students will receive a numbered parking tag; however, regular student parking spaces will not be assigned.

Failure to follow School Board or school policies, regulations, rules, or the conditions outlined in this agreement may result in disciplinary action and/or the immediate suspension or revocation of the student’s parking tag and parking privileges.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Parking on campus is a privilege, not a right. Parking privileges may be revoked if a student fails to follow the School Board or school rules.

  2. Each student will receive a numbered parking tag. The number identifies the student’s parking permit but does not correspond to an assigned parking space.

  3. Parking tags are non-transferable and may be used only by the student to whom they were issued.

  4. Students may park only in designated student parking areas and must use an available space.

  5. Students must follow all traffic laws and campus driving procedures. Reckless driving, speeding, loitering, or operating a vehicle in an unsafe manner may result in disciplinary action and the loss of parking privileges.

  6. The School Board of Orange County and Lake Buena Vista High School are not responsible for theft, damage, vandalism, or the loss of vehicles or personal property.

  7. Students consent to searches of their vehicles while parked on campus. Searches may include the use of drug-detection animals and may occur at any time without prior notice.

  8. Refusal to cooperate with a vehicle search may result in disciplinary action, revocation of parking privileges, and/or towing at the vehicle owner’s expense.

Parking Space Disclaimer

Lake Buena Vista High School does not assign or guarantee individual parking spaces for general student parking. By purchasing a parking tag and parking on campus, students and parents/guardians acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis within designated student parking areas.

  • A parking tag authorizes a student to park on campus but does not reserve or guarantee a particular parking space.

  • Students may not park in unauthorized areas, fire lanes, driving lanes, staff parking, visitor parking, or spaces designated for individuals with disabilities unless they have the appropriate permit.

  • If the primary student parking area is full, students must park in the designated overflow parking area.

Senior Painted Parking Spaces

Seniors approved to paint a parking space will be assigned a specific space for painting. 

  • The assignment identifies the space the senior is permitted to paint.

  • School administration will not remove, discipline, ticket, or attempt to locate another student solely for parking in a painted space.

  • If a senior’s painted space is occupied, the senior must park in another available student parking space or in the designated overflow parking area.

  • Students must follow all school-approved painting guidelines. Painting privileges may be revoked if a design or message violates school or School Board policies.

  • The student and parent/guardian are responsible for all materials and costs associated with painting the space.

  • The school will not provide reimbursement if another authorized student parks in the painted space.

Approval and Signature Process

After the student’s parking application is approved, Ms. Guzman will provide the student with a copy of the parking contract for both the parent/guardian and the student to sign.
