Dual Enrollment

Dual Enrollment allows students to pursue an advanced curriculum that earns the student both high school and college credit simultaneously, and the cost is covered by OCPS!  There is great potential to further engage and motivate students who take academically rigorous courses that capture their interests.   To enroll in dual enrollment academic courses, students must demonstrate a readiness to successfully complete college-level course work and have attained a qualifying grade point average.  College-level dual enrollment courses are weighted the same as Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, and Advanced International Certification of Education courses when grade point averages are calculated.
